We have a conifer hedge that has been in about 15 years and is maintained to a height of about 7'

I recently cut the hedge and found large areas of brown dead leaves / shoots. The dead areas do not start from the bottom, but are generally run about 4' from the ground.

The hedge is situated near a stream and therefore appears to have a constant water supply.

Does anyone out there have any ideas what the problem can be??

Roy,

Leicestershire

Hello Roy,

Sorry for taking some time to get back to you.

Is there any chance you could e-mail a photgraph of the problem, we can get someone to look at it and respond.
